Dog lovers and combat athletes come together to prevent dog fighting and animal cruelty through awareness, activism and athletics.
HUMANE EDUCATION THROUGH THE MARTIAL ARTS:
FIGHT4THEM’s main goal is the education of young people about the problems associated with dog fighting and how young people can better their lives through combat sports instead of this brutal act of cruelty. At FIGHT4THEM we believe that all living things should live a dignified life that is free of unnecessary suffering.
“I FIGHT SO THEY DON’T HAVE TO”:
We train hard. We step into a ring. We fight.
No matter how brutal our match may be, the reality is that there are rules and when the match is done and a hand is raised we go home to our families and our lives. Our injuries are attended to and we train for the next competition.
“Fighting dogs” don’t have that luxury! The winners go back to life on the end of a chain with untreated injuries and daily torture that helps to “make them more aggressive.” The losers die either in the ring, from their injuries or by inhumane execution by their owners.
Help make a difference! These dogs can be loyal and gentle companions. Show others that abusing a dog doesn’t make you tough or courageous. Courage and toughness is shown everyday by people who train hard, work hard, take care of their families and are strong enough to show compassion for other living things.
Help out a fellow fighter!
